Magic · Tier System

T1 · Basic

T1 (Basic) is the foundational tier of the Tier System. Mages at this tier handle the simplest combat-grade operations and stabilize the everyday toolkit, but cannot yet anchor a real fight on their own.

Representative T1 operations include small attack spells, basic protective wards, and reliable everyday utility. The tier is considered the entry-grade for trained mages.

Most works treat T1 as 'the mage who has finished basic training but isn't yet operational.' This page covers T1's character and what stands between the practitioner and T2.

This page covers T1's character, the kinds of magic that fit this band, and what's needed to step up to the next tier.
